In addition to horse boarding and leasing, the Equestrian Center provides training rides and English horseback riding lessons. Private one-on-one lessons are available, along with lessons for small groups of three to five people. 

  • Powhatan WMA - 4792 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA 23139
    Less than an hour from Richmond and mere minutes from these Powhatan homes for sale, the sprawling landscape of Powhatan Wildlife Management Area is ideal for horseback riding. Made up of 4,462 acres of woodlands, meadows and ponds, the WMA is crisscrossed by multi-use trails that are shared by hikers, cyclists and riders. Powhatan WMA is also popular for fishing, bird watching, and hunting. Use caution during hunting seasons.
